Imma go with two here, negative and positive. Gotta have balance, or whatever. 

Hypocrites. I mean yeah, I get what I did was all bad and all, unforgivable, horrible, I killed a man and turned on them and made B’s life hell just about and I’m paying for it. I’ll always pay for it. Then you have certified members of the scooby gang, like Willow, who purposely killed a man and nearly destroyed the world. I don’t see her havin’ to jump through hoops to be forgiven (not that I care) or killing herself over redemption. So, they’re hypocrites. Can’t forgive the former rogue slayer for her mistakes, her trip to the dark side, but they forgave Willow, Spike and Angel. At least, they make it seem that way.

But they’re also determined and have that hero thing about ‘em. That’s good. Y’know ‘cause otherwise the world probably would have gone into apocalypse mode ages ago and it didn’t. All is five by five… for now.
